Without fear, I would quite likely feel calmer, more at ease and more welcoming of ALL of life experiences – pleasant, unpleasant and neutral. Without fear, I would be able to quite naturally and without self-consciousness experience a sense of flow with myself and my feelings – allowing them all in equal measure to arise, have their life, then dissipate of their own accord without engaging in stories and responding to internal messages to assess for threat and respond with appropriate defensive strategy. Without fear, it seems like I might have access to a lot more of my life force, my energy for creative expression. Without fear, there would be more expansion, less contraction.

When I was 55 I received a diagnosis of ADHD and this knowledge altered the how I understood my life. There have been many struggles throughout my life experience in school and work. My path is strewn with career disappointments, running into lots of walls-metaphorically and the frustrations of being intelligent yet limited by dyslexia and ADHD. I have unrealized passions and thwarted goals. Who would I be without fear? Who would I have been without ADHD? I know I am more than my ADHD however, learning anxiety plagues my every move with doubt. My fear is fed by the above realities.
this has been eye opening. i don’t really remember when i did not have that fear and sense of failure. not a great buddy to have, at all. it really is a problem at work. i should have a sense of humor and the “see less flaw” person.
I would be able to experience the natural joy of being alive, and I would have an peace and resilience that would help me appreciate how precious and wonderful life is despite the inevitable difficulties and pain that arise. Thank you, Tara, for these teachings.
I‘d be a compassionate, confident yoga and meditation teacher happy to share the gifts other people tell me I have with the world. Helping others to grow, transform and shine their light.

One request I have is that in the future you reference which event, speaker or other you are referring to. I wasn’t sure where that link went. I trusted you folks but it helps people like me to know where they are going at least in a vague way.
Thanks
I would feel free and unafraid. I would feel free to love without fear. I would feel free to just be. I would feel free to give more of myself. I would feel happier and safer. I would feel more relaxed. I would feel more calm. I would feel lighter. I would be kinder. I would suffer less. I would feel more deeply. I would connect more with others. I would be more connected to myself.
Who would I be if I did not believe something was wrong with me?
I would be using my legal skills to greater effect in benefiting those in the world who are unrepresented (including those stakeholders who are voiceless from a legal perspective except through NGOs or just not represented e.g. the soil itself) and ignorant of their rights (particularly the exploited in the commercial world).
I would be more dynamic and focussed on creating a better world rather than fearful of what might happen to me while so doing.

Thank you for so ably presenting such clear and precise information on the subject of fear.
Without fear, i could have accomplish more, have a more positive outlook on life, and believe in myself and my capabilities, to face life as a stronger person.
Since i have been listening to your program, it has helped me to see myself in a more positive light, don’t get me wrong, i have never doubted my capabilities, but I could have been more assertive and make better decisions. Practicing Mindfulness has also been a great help.
There is no doubt when you turn around and face your fear you, more often than not, find out that the fear was imaginary and not worth running away from. This gives you courage to face new fears and cultivate confidence in your life
