I would be more confident in my relationships and my career. I would try more out-of-the-box directions in my artwork. I would be better about to support my two adult children who have mental illness.
If there was less fear,It would be easier to face the challenges of day to day stress that are like a slight ongoing drizzle of rain where you can’t really see clearly. I would also be able to help others with a clear heart and an embodiment of compassion. Freedom from oppressive influences would be glorious!
Without self doubt, and fear, I would actually be free and OK with how life is happening at this moment and not expect any more. I would be loving towards myself and others.
I would be a peacfull strong honest woman living and working in nature to help others that had similar experiences in their childhood as I had and also be more playfull and open with people and also children with less judgemenet.
I find “real but not true” triggers part of me to have a defensive response unless I am already in a state of openheartedness. I think this is because I associate “not true” with an accusation of lying, being judged, which activates my judgemental self.
I stumbled upon the slightly differently worded “nothing is true, anything is permitted” when playing the original assassins creed trilogy during lockdown, and that has become my mantra.
Combining this mantra with RAINN meditation has helped me so much in learning to make space for my thoughts and feelings and somatic expressions.
Thank you for sharing and thank you Tara for all the free resources you have shared.
Without fear, I would probably be dead. Without being overcome by fear, I connect with others more deeply and am more open to new experiences, making my world a little less small and lonely. I share spiritual experiences with my peers and feel a sense of belonging. I trust I have all that’s needed within me to curiously explore life as I find myself somewhere new.
One practice I have found helpful in making these wishes become less fearful is to visualise myself already present in the experience I wish for, as though I have already overcome the fear and am living my dream, and basking in the sight/smell/sound/taste/feel of it. I imagined myself in the wish above, which is why I have written it in the present tense.
If I didn’t believe something was wrong with me, I’d be my true self, the self I want to be, the self I imagine acting brave, living with an open heart, being courageous, vulnerable. If I didn’t believe something was wrong with me, I’d be free to express myself and not hold back for fear of rejection, hurt, criticism.
Thank you so much for your recordings & teachings. In answer to your question, I would be so much more than I’m now in many aspects of my life, e.g personal & career. I’d try so much more without fear of failure, rejection, not being good enough or well enough to do or be something, etc.
This is a wonderful and timeless audio gift to humanity. Thank you for sharing your heart, art, mind and compassion with your fellow beings. I would love a link to “breaking the worry addiction” and even this session “cultivating a fearless heart” as it would really help me as I support my teenager through his early stages of self doubt & awareness. Peace and gratitude.
Hello and thank you for your free workshop! In answer to your question, I would likely be more willing to try new things and therefore experience more variety in my world (the spice of life!)
I would be a person who could enter a room of friends or strangers and feel alive and aware of the energy in the room. I would not feel as though I were in a box, painfully aware of struggling to interact and feeling in a fog. I would feel clear, and I would be able to really hear with focus and compassion. I would not feel ten steps behind. I would be confident.
I would be free to explore areas of interest to me without feeling/thinking I’m a failure if I don’t achieve or master them. Or use negative self language on myself that demeans me.
Without the thought of people not seeing /recognising my qualities, or not being loveable, I would be a generous , strong and sensual woman, enjoying life to the fullest. Thanks Tara for this question : it is absolutely empowering to see myself rid of these fears!
A good look into self doubt and the need to challenge ‘Real but not True.’ I really like the compassionate way Tara is doing this work. Helping clients to have care and compassion for their mind and body.
