Thank you so much! I have never living with fear and grief my entire life. I am so grateful for a simple yet powerful process for myself personally and professionally.
I feel so grateful for this training. I have come to recognize how much fear rules my life these days even with a regular mindful practice and tapping practice. Thank you for helping us all evolve to be better humans.
The timing of this couldn’t be better. I have struggled with the feeling that I don’t matter and I’m just starting to realize how freeer I feel when I stop and remind myself that I do deserve to be seen and I do matter TO ME!
Thank you
Chana
I love to hear you talking about fear and a fearless heart. Especially the opening with the question “who would I be when I don’t believe someting is wrong with me” is very helpful in my work as a psychotherapist. Thanks zo much.
Love living with the question and not in the problem, Tara. –Who would I be if I didn’t believe something is wrong with me? It’s my new mantra. Thanks so much!
Terri
Since the elimination of fear would be removing a natural animal instinct. I sense the real question is – who would I be if I knew how to manage fear in my life. My answer is the same for both questions – I do not know who I would be, and I would like to find out!
First I would like to thank you, both you Ruth and Tara and all the people who are part of the organization of this online workshop, for this opportunity to delve more deeply into an important emotion such as fear.
I believe that emotional education is the basis of well-being in people and allowing them greater access with clear and simple information such as the one you have shared, it will very surely continue to help us improve and harmonize the relationship with our emotions and that of others.
For me, the foundation of many, if not all, mental illnesses begins with the difficulty of understanding and, therefore, knowing how to manage emotions (both pleasant, unpleasant and neutral). I have observed that there are still erroneous beliefs about these natural processes of our mind-body, which is what leads to the omission and rejection of them.
Fortunately, the science of emotions, in relation to the evidence on mindfulness, has provided us with more and more important information about the dynamics of our emotional world, thus making its better understanding the first step to better manage them.
My best wishes with the development of the program that you have designed, and that will surely continue to ease more hearts in the world. You are people of my total admiration for what you do and it gives me hope to see that these psychoeducational spaces continue to be promoted, which may seem small in their methodology, but which are enormous in the positive impact they generate.
I have learned more about this topic, and will apply concepts and practices in both my personal and professional development.
I have had three breakdowns and experienced discrimination in employment.
I feel I could have done a lot better. I have a degree but little paid work
since achieving it. I am starting to do better mixing with people who are
supportive and I can learn from.
This is the BEST presentation I have seen on Fear busting! You obviously are on a mission to change the minds of all those programmed with false beliefs. As a clinician, I have been working on helping clients to realize fear is a choice in a myriad of choices. I know that trauma blocks the ability to choose beyond fear. Thank you, Tara. As always, your work is impeccable in advancing a new mental state that transcends the lies of conditioned trauma!
As I have to identify myself, I am not comfortable telling my story. I have written it and deleted it twice already. I don’t know who I am going to be but I am very anxious to find out.
This question really hits me. I feel like I wouldn’t be ‘me’ anymore (my ego) if I didn’t think something was wrong with me. My need for control and most of my fears seem to stem from this deep believe that something is wrong with me, someone else, the world, etc and that I need to fix this in order to get some peace of mind again.
I would be someone capable of accomplishing and finishing goals. I would be open to giving and receiving love and enjoying my life more, instead of the hypervigilance I now live in order to protect myself. I would feel safe, and free.
I would feel more authentic and feel a greater sense of freedom in my relationships. Removing a fear of rejection would transform how I would interact in the world.
I would stop worrying how other people perceive me and stop judging myself and others. I would be free to be my authentic self which is full of energy and joy of being alive.
