I felt a release of the stuck feelings and emotion that kept being recycled. I was able to see another perspective and my ability to see what was really happening brought feelings of compassion and understanding for myself and those involved. I wasn’t so stuck and tunnel visioned. I felt sadness and then joy and acceptance ?
wonderful practices. looking forward to you sharing more about the online course you are offering. attending and befriending the inner wounded place rather than perpetuating the story of blame is a key change. as Carl Jung asserted “who looks outside dreams, who looks inside awakens”. The shift from blame to compassion awakens us to be the force for healing rather than maintaining the unenforceable rule it should not have happened, taking it personally, and repeating the grievance story of what happened over and over and over again.
I’ve started to do this with my Mum, and it’s left space for all the love that was always there, but never felt, to begin to emerge and be truly felt. We end each conversation now with “I love you.” I never thought we’d ever be able to say that to each other and truly mean it. By starting to let go of my judgement’s and blame towards Mum, and others, I feel that I not only have more compassion for myself, I now have started to feel an overflow of compassion for others.
I would most certainly approach others much more easily, feel less defensive.
And at long last, I might start feeling less lonely.
Thank you for making me aware of this.
I would get rid of the regrets that come back to me all the time. Regrets that I blame others for. These regrets are negative and toxic. If I let go of this chronic blame, the regrets will also vanish.
Who would I be without blame and judgment of others? Open, more in contact with myself and others. These practices have the potential of empowering me to let go, if I use them. It’s up to me. Thx Tara.
Thank you Tara, that was a very revealing practice. Fear, judgement and blame have clothed my insecurities and feelings of unworthiness for most of my life. No matter what I’ve done in the past to change this, I’ve remind captive to my feelings of not being enough. But this practice tonight has been very helpful. Namaste!
Great content, very thought provoking. Love the image of the heart space as the ocean and the waves and the great enquiry questions. Thank you for sharing
Thank you for this. I feel that this will allow me to move from anger into compassion much quicker with practice while recognising that sometimes we need to keep a safe distance from someone who is not yet ready to see their own trapped leg. The balance of self protection but not getting eaten alive by our own anger is a tricky dance.
Such ‘food for thought’’
An interesting approach which feels strong & positive. One which needs more practice to adopt a sense of control.
Listening is easy, understanding is easy, but to adopt is more difficult but definitely worth trying.
Thank you for your insights & best practices.
Thank you for your wisdom. I am trying to practice, practice, practice letting go of blame and helping other do the same. The example of a dog with it foot in a trap is one that I will use again and again with others. Many blessings.
Ohh, so lovely. I could feel my frozen emotions from a recent trauma starting to melt, and warmth come back into my mind. Felt a bit like the sun coming out after a gloomy day. So much to release and let go of. You have such a genuinely heartfelt way of expressing yourself Tara, which made me feel finally, I am in a safe space where I can give myself the healing, love and care I’ve been longing for. Blessings to you, Debra.
If I could let go of judgement and chronic blame I would be so much more free to reach my potential, to help my children through their challenges, to trust my own very valuable instincts…
Thank you for these workshops Tara, they opened up something that I have been working on for some time and it is always good to reflect on self-compassion, something that I know I personally struggle with. I particularly liked your final comments/recognition of our world struggles at the moment – it would be so wonderful if we could all find more compassion during these strange and challenging times… and change the world from the inside, out.
Blessings
Free. That’s the word that comes to mind. How freeing it is when we let go of judgement and blame! I think I’d also become a safe place, a true refuge for myself. Thank you for all your kindness, Tara!
Its not easy to let go of judgement and chronic blame. Being in this chronic pattern of lack of self-compassion has taken a toll on my life and is directly related to some of the negative thoughts, feelings, and decisions I have made. Finding compassion for myself first is the key to opening my heart-space so that I can stop the cycle of blaming others for my own lack of self worth. This practice of letting go is a wonderful way to release the memories that have haunted me and to realize that it is truth and self love that will set me free. Thank you so much for posting this series. I will share this with others that I know will find it most beneficial. – Terrence Needom, Teacher
I would be more hopeful about my happiness in life. I have spent so much time in the last year judging and blaming my daughter for not being my expectations. I could be relieved of the burden of disconnection from my daughter.
this is an amazing way to move from judgement and self blaming to self compassion. I felt theme to open hear space and it felt open with space to grow and feel the freedom, but also felt unfamiliar and that I want to stay but didn’t know how. I will continue to take this wisdom and practice each day. I feel I am not alone and that being open and vulnerable is living; now that is a shift :).
I would be more peaceful loving and lovable.
I could love my husband more instead of erupting sometimes in anger. I know what he did or didn’t do is that as Tara says came from his being trapped.
Thank u Tara very helpful .

The timing of these videos is amazing. How to break the chains of suffering I’ve been bound in unconsciously, how to unpack the baggage of the past, to finally surrender in radical self compassionate forgiveness. This is how true emotional healing can take place, from the inside out. Thank you so much for your kind, compassionate voice and these techniques of healing. So grateful.
